For overseas guests or students coming to attend the workshop on campus: * Please also be informed of the preventive guidelines in the link above. * Keep track of your health condition and keep a daily record of body temperature for 7 days prior coming to Hong Kong. * Please postpone the trip if you have flu symptoms or fever. * Please wear a mask and check own body temperature for 7 days upon arrival if coming from an affected area. Please note that anyone entering the student hostels will be required to have body temperature checked by hostel staff. All returning students and new comers to student hostels have to complete a health declaration form (http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/health_promote_protect/health_declaration.pdf) and take temperature checking when they check-in hostels. The University Health Service will follow up on any positive response that requires further medical check. This promises to be a fantastic event, and all seven JUDC Universities have been invited to attend the competition. The dates for the competition are as follows: Sunday, October 30 th: Introductory BP Session. This workshop will feature a demo BP debate, as well as a brief rules and tactics briefing, to cater towards those who may not have debated in BP style before. Saturday, 12 November 2005: Competition Day One, rounds 1-3. Sunday, 13 November 2005: Competition Day Two, rounds 4-6. Saturday, 19 November 2005 : Finals Series, including Quarter Finals (if numbers permit), Semi Finals and the Grand Finals Debate, which will be open to the public. Society for Associated Inter-tertiary Debaters ( Singapore ) 2005 Hong Kong Tour In December, members of Singapore's Society for Associated Inter-Tertiary Debaters (SAID) will visit Hong Kong for their 2005 Debating Tour. The Tour, from 21 st-26 th of December, will include training workshop, along with both friendly and public debates.
